This beautiful example of Petite Sirah is inky with unyielding blackberries and deep, dark currants. It is richly textured with clove, allspice, leather and a hint of mocha, ending in a long, peppercorn-laced finish. Pair with rib steak, tomato or beet salad, grilled portobello mushrooms, spicy beans, and almost any tangy barbecue sauce-laden meat. For fromage: aged goat cheese and sharp cheddars.
