Description
These beautiful bluish berries were cold-soaked and macerated, using the saignée method to bleed off barely pressed fruit for better extraction. This Syrah was aged in 30% new French oak for 18 months. A classic Rhône-style Syrah from a cooler climate, this dark pleaser exhibits black mission fig fruit and a hint of blueberry, laced with white pepper, finishing long with velvety tannins. Pair with lamb kebabs, rich beef stew or casserole, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, and/or love.
