Description
A robust wine sporting a cab-like persona with a deep purple-red hue, and a nose of pipe tobacco, smoked meat, and ripe red berries. The rich palate is a meal unto its own, conjuring thoughts of faraway lands and exotic foods. The tannins are assertive, but nicely integrated with the boldness of the fruit and spice. This Tannat will complement seafood stews, venison, sausage ragouts, empanadas, Puerto Rican Pernil, strong aged cheeses, and other rich delectables. Aging: 7-12 years from vintage.
