Sunce’s Tempranillo Garnacha Cab is a classic Iberian-style blend of 25% Tempranillo from Don Miguel’s famed Sebastopol vineyard, 50% Grenache from Henny’s pedigreed Kenwood estate, and made serious with 25% of Javier’s famed Chalk Hill Cabernet Sauvignon. A bouquet of sweet red fruit and Hibiscus dominates the nose, leading to ripe cherries, strawberries, and violet, with hints of a cedar character at first sip. Intense black fruit intermingles smoothly with spice notes in this full-bodied personality. Black tea and tamarind linger on the finish. Pair with Moroccan Skirt Steak, Hungarian Goulash, mild Indian curries, and macaroni and cheese. Aging: 5-15 years
