Description
This unconventional Italian blend (with a Spanish name) contains 40% Primitivo, 40% Montepulciano, and 20% Nero d’Avola. This wine presents as rich and velvety, with aromas of dewy lichen and saddle, and flavors of black plums, currants, and truffles. Excellent with stuffed portobello mushrooms, lamb shanks, and rich meaty dishes, or just as a slow sipper on its own.
